1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Tileverse (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Tileverse is a digital real estate platform featuring a 1,000,000-tile grid divided into three districts (Talent, Business, and Community). Users can claim, purchase, and customize tiles to showcase their professional profiles, projects, and offerings. Users may also buy and sell tiles on the secondary marketplace.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Tile Ownership

Direct purchases: Tiles purchased directly from Tileverse are owned by you indefinitely, subject to these terms.
Free claims: Free-tier tiles are yours to keep. If your account is inactive for more than 12 months and the tile has no published content, the tile may be reclaimed and made available to others.
Subscription tiles: Tiles obtained through a subscription are available while your subscription is active. If cancelled, tiles remain accessible for a 30-day grace period.
Ownership of a tile grants you the right to publish content on it and to list it for resale on the marketplace. It does not grant ownership of any Tileverse intellectual property.

5. Marketplace

Tile owners may list their tiles for sale at any price they choose.
A 10% platform commission is deducted from every marketplace sale. The seller receives 90% of the sale price.
Sellers must connect a Stripe account to receive payouts. Tileverse is not responsible for delays or issues related to Stripe payouts.
All sales are final. There are no refunds on marketplace purchases unless both buyer and seller agree.
Tileverse reserves the right to remove listings that violate these terms or appear fraudulent (e.g., fake sales to inflate prices).

6. Acceptable Content

You agree not to publish content that:

Is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or hateful
Infringes on intellectual property or privacy rights of others
Contains malware, phishing links, or harmful code
Is misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive
Harasses, threatens, or intimidates others
Violates any applicable law or regulation

Tileverse reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice.

7. Payments & Refunds

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
All sales are final. Tileverse tiles and coin bundles are digital goods delivered instantly upon purchase and are non-refundable. By completing a purchase you acknowledge that you waive any statutory cooling-off period that may otherwise apply to digital goods under your local consumer law.
In exceptional cases — duplicate charges, technical errors that prevented delivery, or unauthorized transactions — contact us at tileverses@gmail.com and we will review on a case-by-case basis. See our Refund Policy for details.
Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Marketplace sales between users are also final. The 10% platform commission is non-refundable.
Chargebacks filed without first contacting support may result in account suspension.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you publish on your tiles. By publishing content, you grant Tileverse a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content as part of the Service (e.g., in search results, OG images, and social shares).

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Tileverse does not guarantee uptime, data preservation, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your tiles will be released back to the public pool.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
